About the poetry
In a note written in 1395 SH (2016), Mojabi recalled that his first book was a volume of poems, published in 1344 SH (1965), when he was twenty-five. At the time of writing, he said, fifty-one years had passed since poetry first dawned in him, and it seemed to have no sunset. He took pride in having contributed to Iranian poetry.
Three collections — Fasli Baraye To, Zubini Bar Ghalb-e Payiz and Parvaz Dar Meh — were brought together in Salhaye Sha’eraneh (Poetic Years). Five collections — Bar Bam-e Bam, Safarhaye Mallah-e Roya, Popkaneh, Shidayiha and Dari Be Shadkhu’i — were published together in Safarhaye Mallah-e Roya. Four collections — She’r-e Boland-e Ta’ammol, She’rhaye Man Baraye Poopak, Be Nasim-e Sobh-e Farda and Kalam-e Gha’eb — appeared in one volume titled She’r-e Boland-e Ta’ammol. The Persian page’s 1395 SH note says that three other collections — Taranehaye Majusan, Shaheen-e In Zemestan and Dar Gardesh-e Bishehaye Tabestan — were awaiting publication permission at that time.
